Truth about the Universe
This one was about conveying an inner state entirely through physicality and performance focus, determination, and a sense of insight, like she's carrying knowledge the audience doesn't have yet. Seated on a ledge, talking to someone off screen, her body language had to carry the scene's tension on its own: turns of the head, shifts in posture, and small changes in how she leans toward or away from the conversation all needed to feel deliberate and controlled, so the stillness in between read as awareness and restraint rather than passivity. On top of the body work, the dialogue sections needed a face that could carry real intent clear, shaped mouth poses tied to specific words, paired with eye and brow choices that kept her reading as someone who knows more than she's letting on, rather than just talking.
This piece's lip sync is complete in some sections and unfinished in others it's a surviving fragment recovered after the Palisades fire, and the original project files didn't make it. What's here is what's left.
