The Hunter
This piece taught me patience with timing. Pushing a creature through a full sprint, a hard impact, a loss of control, and a pained recovery meant constantly asking how long a pose could hold before it went stale, and how fast a movement could snap before it lost its weight. I got the same notes over and over too fast here, too held there and instead of getting discouraged, I started actually hearing what my peers meant, which made all the difference. That back and forth taught me how to trust the process of iterating past a rough draft, how to keep weight and follow through alive through a hard tumble and slide, and how to really listen to feedback instead of just reacting to it.
