Kart

A wordless piece built specifically to work on posing, timing, and exaggeration without any dialogue to lean on for storytelling. The character's confidence has to read purely through how he moves toward the kart, how big and clear the leap into the seat is, and how sharply that excitement snaps down into a hunched, white knuckle driving pose every transition needed a strong, readable silhouette and enough hold time on the key poses to actually land before the next beat started. The crash at the end was the real payoff of that setup pushing the impact and the sprawled landing big enough to feel like a genuine, cartoon scale wipeout, while keeping the timing snappy enough that it read as a hard, sudden loss of control rather than a slow fall. It's a small piece, but it was really about discipline picking clear extremes, committing to them, and trusting exaggeration to do the storytelling work instead of over-animating the space in between.
