Jungle Freak
This one was a lip sync exercise built around restraint testing how far I could push emotional read without pushing the poses. The goal was subtlety: keeping performance choices small and grounded enough to feel like real, contained conversation, while still making sure every emotional beat landed clearly for an audience watching once, not frame by frame. The anchor moment was Regina physically pulling her arm out of Cady's grip a small, sharp action carrying a lot of the scene's emotional weight, so the timing and force behind that single gesture had to read as the true turning point without any surrounding exaggeration to lean on. Lip sync accuracy mattered too, but the bigger technical problem was restraint. Finding the minimum amount of motion in the face, the shoulders, the weight shift off the pulled arm that would still clearly communicate the tension in the scene.
