Bear
This one was about learning to let go and call something finished. I lean toward expressive, explosive performance big anticipations, big overshoots, poses that snap hard into the extreme and that same instinct is usually what gets me stuck adding "just one more" pass until I burn out and abandon the shot. So this piece became as much a discipline exercise as an animation one: pushing the bear's chase through a full arc, from the wind-up gallop through the fork-wielding threat to the cornered finish, while forcing myself to lock poses, commit to a spacing pattern, and move on instead of endlessly refining. Keeping the energy loud and cartoony sharp holds, snappy in-betweens, exaggerated silhouettes readable at a glance while still hitting a real finish line taught me to treat "done" as its own skill, not just a byproduct of running out of ideas.
I know it's not perfect, and there are spots I'd probably tighten up if I came back to it. But I got exactly what I needed out of making it, and I'm calling it good as is for now, at least.
